Rich Ghanaian culture, fashion, music, and appreciating the works of a West African blend of music and the movie industry colorfully put, “RHYTHMS ON DA RUNWAY” was the experience on Saturday 4th December 2021, at the Accra International Conference Center.
The ninth edition of this prestigious event-themed “The Masquerade” was organized by Nineteen 57 events.

Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) a media personality, entrepreneur, and one of Ghana’s fashion industry trendsetters is the CEO for both Nineteen 57 Events and the fashion line Nineteen57 which was also on the runway. A cross-section of West African designers, based in the continent and the United Kingdom strutted their designs on the runway.In a very unique, and never been done before grand style, the red carpet was worth every bit of the experience. Both the red carpet and runway were graced by the tallest man at the event in the person of Charles Sogli.

Recognition was given to two West Africans who have immensely contributed to the arts; in the music and movie industry. The awardees are in the persons Pat Thomas a renowned musician from Ghana and Richard Mofe-Damijo (R.M.D) also a renowned actor from Nigeria. Star performances from Ghanaian artists and creative displays of fashion from Ghana and Nigeria with unique styles, and authentic African designs with a touch of European styles made the night a memorable one with after performances by vibrant Ghanaian artists. It was a night well-stocked with style, music, appreciation, and great entertainment.
